Welcome to the

Dalloul Art Foundation

for

Modern & Contemporary Arab Art

DIVINITY
Under divinity, the works are inspired by mythological narratives and classical representations of the Goddesses of love and beauty, Aphrodite and Venus; or by religious representations of the story of Adam and Eve.

SEXUALITY
Under sexuality, the works feature nudes as with seductive gestures of lustfulness, or intimacy. Here, the subject of study is not an imaginary depiction whose only end is to titillate the spectator.

CONFLICT
Under conflict, the works show the human naked body in allegorical representations. The nude here reflects a state of conflict, primarily in the form of social and political strife.
